Develop a fresh awter loch in close proximity to the centre of Leverburgh, which will provide facilities for angling, windsurfing, rowing, canoeing and sailing

To plant native/hardy appropraite trees, shrubs & perannials, along road verges, around recreational facilities, public open spaces and to strengthen existing boundaries in order to enclose views of Leverburgh and unify the settlement pattern
15.Strip of ground at Dunmore Crescent
improve an area of housing adjacent to primary school
plant an existing grass area in front of Dunmore Crescent in conjunction with a traffic managemnet scheme at this section of raoway adjacent to the loca school. The landscaping of the bus stop area will also be included
16.Harbour around new anchorage at An Struth
Create a visitor attraction & informal recreational opportunity in conjunction with refurbishing exitsting Black House
Develop a walkway adjacent to the pier/harbour which forms part of a Lord Leverhulme Heritage trail
17.Local Primary School
improve & rehabilitate school grounds as a learning resource and more adventurous playground
Redesign and plant school play ground to provide shelter, improve road frontage and perception of the School
18.Ha Cleit and Old reservoir
Promote recreational facilities for locals & tourists and provide a viewpoint with interpretive boards
Develop a circular footpath/cycle route providing a possible link with the Harris Footpath network and Rodel
19.Land adjacent to Ferry Road and New Road
Further diversify local recreational facilities
provide n area of improved grassland capable of being developed into a nine hole pitch and putt.
20.bank of Loch Steiseva behind Chrch of Scotlandt
improve the type of local tourist accommodation offered
create a camp site within the village providing more overnight accommodation including basic toilet, shower and washing facilities
21.Old water Tower and derelict building
creata a visitor facility for outdoor activity holidays
build an outward bound centre utilising existing derelict buildings and provide an educational resource
22.Lever Terrace
clear derelict land
clean up a site which is currently unused/derelict ground and create a community open space and footpath liink to centre of Leverburgh.
