This
1.86m high pillar was thought to be part of a stone circle,
because several other stones were found around it.
It is situated a short distance from the sea in Borvemore, near the Golf Course.

Clach
Mhic Leòid
This impressive 3.2m tall monolith stands
near the sea at Nisabost Beach.
It is supported by packing boulders. Other surrounding stones
suggest that there may have been a cairn.
At the equinoxes
the sun sets over the island of St Kilda (Hiort), 60km away to the west and visible
from Clach Mhic Leòid in clear weather.
