The Community Garden at Lever Terrace was officially opened by Mrs Rene Campbell, Finsbay, Trustee of the Port of Leverburgh Estates.
The South Harris Community Council was responsible for the Garden with funding from the Comhairle Environmental Grant, Councillor Ward Initiative money and their own fundraising. The land was granted by Port of Leverburgh Estates, and the landscaping was done by Robinsons Landscape. South Harris Community Council hope it will provide a pleasant 'resting place' for locals and visitors alike.
